For the PowHer.fit members wanting a deeper dive into the scientific WHY behind our nutritional tactic along with weekly food diary accountability turn-ins and monthly zoom meeting with our dietician April Roby Dirteater. This 12 week self paced course was created by the official dietician of PowHer.fit: April Roby Dirteater of ADD Nutrition.

We are so excited to announce that we have been diligently working with April Roby, Registered Dietitian of ADD Nutrition to bring an interactive and virtual 12-week course!  This course can be purchased and started at any time! This course takes a deeper dive into the education, science, and behavior changes to create a healthy, sustainable, and balanced approach to nutrition and your fat loss goals. April and all of us here at PowHer.fit believe in skipping the fad diets, not cutting out food groups, eliminating food fears and ending the “it takes super restrictive” mind set.  This course also combines one-on-one time with April along with a supportive group setting in the monthly zoom calls every member is able to access the first Tuesday of each month at 6pm CST.

From April on the ADD Nutrition website, “My mission at ADD Nutrition is to help you achieve health and reach your goals without sacrificing your quality of life. Life is already complicated enough. Limiting food choices and following rigid meal plans is overwhelming. My goal is to help you find a way of eating that aligns with your goals and keeps your health at the forefront. First, I start by helping people learn how to balance calories, macronutrients, and food choices. Eventually, the goal is to move away from tracking food and focus on a more sustainable approach to eating. So why did we create a virtual & interactive course together?  Well, for many reasons. April’s wait list has been 6 weeks + over the most recent years, so this will allow people to learn from April without having to wait such a long time.  Even though this will not be a true one-on-one setting, it will virtually feel like you’re working with April one-on-one when it comes to the education side and like you’re being held accountable by Randa with quizzes, content turn in requirements, nutrition diary proof and even monthly group zoom meetings with April for one-on-one time, as well as a supportive group setting.  We love the idea of the monthly zoom meetings because we think the current students on the Advanced Nutrition 1.0 program can help each other when it comes to questions for April. You will get out what you put into this course. Some people will speak up and ask more questions than others, which will benefit everyone who tuned in to the monthly Zoom meetings with April.  How will the monthly zoom meetings work?  Well, you’ll have to make it towards the end of the course FIRST to have a better understanding of nutrition with April, and the zoom meetings are meant to help more individualized questions and such.

Even though we have a thorough nutrition overview for all our members, we know that some members want to know more of the science and the “why” behind our nutrition strategy; using macro tracking as a tool and the weekly accountability check-ins, so that’s another reason we teamed up together for this interactive 12-week course.

So, what does the course entail week to week?  Well, each week is different and built upon the previous week’s knowledge shared.  For this reason, the course must be completed in order, and you will not be able to skip ahead or skip around.  Quizzes, surveys, and accountability turn-ins will be required to advance to the following week.  Here’s more of a breakdown of what each week will entail if you choose to join the Advanced Nutrition 1.0 course:

Once you purchase the course, you forever have access to all the content that has been put together including the educational materials, video lessons from April, quizzes and even the link to the monthly Zoom meetings with April and other Advanced Nutrition 1.0 students.  Remember this course does not require any PowHer.fit membership, so you will have the course indefinitely along with access to the monthly zoom meetings with April!

Whenever you purchase this course, you will have immediate access to the full course one week at a time, and again that is because each week is specifically written and taught to build upon the previous week.  Skipping ahead or switching weeks to be out-of-order could hinder the process put forth by both April of ADD Nutrition and PowHer.fit.
